The default tab that opens should be remembered

Anytime I open the app, the tab that is open is "for you". I am least interested in that tab - worst of all the same post will often be at the top all day which means it makes the site look very stagnant. The other issue, which seems to be a bit better recently, but when I hit on the tab for people I'm following it takes 15 seconds for it to load. I'm too impatient to wait for that. So what would be nice if the app would just remember what tab I leave on.
